Is my photo stored anywhere?+
No. Your selfie is sent over an encrypted connection, analysed in memory to produce your result, and immediately discarded. We never store, log, or use your photos to train any model — only the analysis result (your season and palette) is kept. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How does pricing work?+
Dapple is free to download. Your full colour report is a one-time purchase of £9.99. Style Companion — the daily stylist, outfit checker and shopping assistant — starts with a 3-day free trial, then £39.99/year or £7.99/month. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled any time in your Apple ID settings. Prices may vary by region; see our Terms.
How accurate is the analysis?+
Dapple estimates your colour season from the undertone, contrast and value in your photo, and shows a confidence score so you know how strong the read is. Good, natural lighting gives the best result. It's an informed estimate to guide your styling — not a clinical measurement — and you can fine-tune your undertone, contrast and value in the app.
Do I need an account?+
No — there's no sign-up and no login. You can start straight away. Your results, profile details and chat history live securely on your device, not on our servers, and you can delete all of it any time from Settings → Delete my data.
What can the stylist actually do?+
The AI stylist answers your styling questions, the outfit checker tells you whether a look works with your palette, the shopping assistant helps you find pieces in your colours, and a daily colour pick suggests what to wear and what to skip. Stylist replies are generated using Anthropic's Claude — see our Privacy Policy for how that works.
